A non-surgical facelift where facial skin is lifted and tightened
What is PDO Thread Lift?
A PDO thread lift is a non-surgical facelift in which polydioxanone (PDO) threads are used to lift and tighten the facial skin. By using needles to attach and inject these threads into various layers of the skin, sagging skin is immediately lifted and tightened. Anywhere from 1-15 threads may be used per section.
PDO threads come in three primary types: mono, cog, and screw threads. Each variety is created for a slightly different use and treatment. The mono texture will work well for the majority of patients seeking skin tightening and rejuvenation. The skin is numbed before treatment to minimize discomfort.
What does it target?
A PDO thread lift instantly lifts your skin and improves the texture of your skin while stimulating the generation of collagen and cellular renewal for long-lasting effects. A PDO thread lift can lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for patients who do not wish to undergo significant surgery, especially over time with the increased collagen.
Typically, patients resume regular activity within one week following the procedure.
